A clean inexpensive brand-new guesthouse
Found this place on wikitravel, so why don't I just steal their description: Green Tulip Guest House, 18 Samlan Road (near Wat Phrasing and Sunday "Walking Street") +66 53-278367 [30] - brand new guest house with a restaurant, roof top garden, Internet café and large screen TV in the lobby. Beautifully decorated and designed with elegant wood floors throughout the building.
Well, we picked a room for 800 baht with aircon, shared (but close to the room) bathroom. We loved it.
Unique Quality: You absolutely have to treat yourself to owner Stella's Tom Yum Kung. I've never had better Tom Yum in my life, and trust me I know my Tom Yum. I'd go back to stay at Green Tulip just for the soup.
Don't hesitate and book a jungle trekking trip with Green Tulip. They'll hook you up with a trusted company. We booked a two-day trip and it was simply awesome.
