    Living like the Hmong

    by

Well, I am pretty sure that the Hilltribe Houses these Bungalows are constructed after are not that comfortable as what you will have when lodging here.

This is not a real hotel, but there are several Lodges or Bungalows.
Like the originals they stand on "legs" and are almost copletely made of wood and bamboo.

Unique Quality: In one Bungalow are 4 rooms, each complete with big bed, shower and toilet separately.
The windows are always half closed (because of their construction), that gives the room a warm look, too.

Only one thing. The walls are a little thin, so you can hear very well, what your neighbour does ...

    Simple but Comfortable

    by

A unique hotel with comfortable rooms with everything you need within a thatched roof building set among tropical gardens.

Each building has four hotel rooms with screens and simple windows leading from a central lounge area and balcony overlooking the gardens. Great for groups to relax and chat.

The central eating area is open with rustic furniture. The H'mong people prepare wonderfully tasty means with loads of fresh fruits and BBQ style cooking. Then they dress in traditional costume to entertain guests in their cabaret room.

Unique Quality: The setting close by the H'mong village and run by villagers gives unique opportunities to talk to the local residents.

A 4 star hut with an experience that is hard to match.

In the north, there is a wonderful lodge on the mountains near to chang mai, the Hmong Hilltribe lodge, which is in middle of a wonderful nature.

Visit a waterfall

by Myndo

When driving through Northern Thailand I often saw signs showing the direction to a waterfall closeby.
Since there was no waterfall on our tour list, but I wanted to see one, our guide took us to one.
I really liked it. The plants in Thailand can sometimes be like in a Jungle, with trees that have other plants growing on them.
This together with a waterfall is really nice to see, so do it!

I am sure there are a lot of wonderful falls to be discovered.

The one in the picture lies close to the Hmong Hilltribe lodge. You will pass it (its on the left) when you drive up there.
