Good location, spaces room and good food too...

Sheraton Chiangmai Hotel offers luxurious accommodations just minutes from Chiangmai's temples and the Anusarn Night Bazaar and it is truly one of Asia's most fascinating markets. My stay was really fantastic, and it's breakfast starts at 5.30 am...just to cater for the buzzling tourist who needs to catch the local tour which normally starts at 7 am.

In a Nutty :
My secky made a good choice to book me in here....it has a over-sized room :) and being a starwood member I got upgraded too... so be a member now ;P

Unique Quality: Smack right in town, over looking a canal...I just love having b'fast outdoor and just sipping my coffee while enjoying the morning freshness of Chiangmai...

Excellent standard for cost

Spent 6 nights at the Holiday Inn. We were very happy with all aspects of the Hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, dining was of a very high standard, we were on the 22nd floor which gave great views over the landscape and down the Ping river.

My only drawback is that the hotel is a good 30 min walk to the old city, which when hot and humid is a bit of a chore, but certainly works up a thirst for a beautiful fruit smoothie.

Tuk Tuks and Taxi's are at the front, the hotel runs a bus to the night markets at 8pm returning at 10:15pm.

Unique Quality: Excellent views of the surrounding area, if you can get a high up room
Pool area was pleasant after a days walking
Hotel supplied transport to the airport (120bht), free transport to local major shopping centre and night markets

Very relaxing

Sheraton Chian Mai is now Holiday Inn
Went there for my honeymoon and the staff treated us like royalty. We received a floral bouquet on our arrival; they upgraded our room and a lovely welcome note laying on the bed.
The second night we were there we ordered room service for dinner, which was fantastic, dinner came hot and very nicely laid out for us. Then come a complementary heart shaped cake for dessert then an hour later complementary chocolates with a note from the manager wishing us to have an enjoyable stay and if we needed anything to personally contact him. We didn't need to because everything was perfect.
All the staff were very friendly and polite. Service in the pool bar, lobby lounge and restaurant was sensational.
The Sheraton has a roof top pool so it gets all the sun unlike some hotel pools which are too cold you can't even use.

Unique Quality: Nice and quite location
Excellant staff
