Massage
There are lots of options for having a massage in Chiang Mai, which is cheaper and in my opinion better than in Bangkok. You should look to pay around 300 baht for an hour. Relax and let your masseuse do their magic!

Hi, could someone share some tips or experiences on the flight from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang ,Laos. I intend to fly from Chiang Mai and wondering what is the cost of a single journey.
Could you please recommend some reliable travel agencies in Chiang Mai where I can make my flight reservations. Thanks.
Is it the one offered by Bangkok Airways? I have flew with them once and they are really a great airline with good service. You should definitely check out their discovery pass as it can be cheaper for you if you are flying a few times.
Check out their website and you can book online, no need to use an agent.
Bangkok airways don't have direct flight to Luang Prabang. If I'm not mistaken, Laos airways provide daily services to Luang Prabang from Chiang Mai. I've tried their official web site and quoted usd225. According to some feedback over the forums , it's much more cheaper to get the ticket from the travel agencies in Chiang Mai, probablyc usd150~usd160. So, I'm thinking anyone here can do me a big favor by asking the Chiang Mai travel agencies regarding the flight from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang. Thanks.

I here many stories from western men who say, “this girl soled my money”. No you were stupid enough to give it to her without checking to see if she her stories were true. Remember these are tests to see if you are wise, thrifty, kind, considerate or just plain stupid. A traditional Thai girl would not take the money but just smile or laugh as mentioned previously.
About the third date and beyond.
After she consults with her siblings and/or friends and they like you then she will go on to the next step. If they don’t like you forget it. Thais won’t rely on their own feelings when it comes to getting serious with a potential mate. What their close personal relations say is most important when it comes to making decisions.
Again you are at a restaurant with her and probably a Thai restaurant but this time alone. You ask her to make the dinner choice of dishes for you and her. Once the plates arrive she will put the rice on your plate for you. Here is where you find out if she is serious about you and falling in love. She will take small portions from the serving plates and put it on your plate. She will fill up your water or beer glass when it gets low. She will keep doing this until the meal is over. She is trying to show that she wants to take care of you. Thai women are trained by their mother on how to take care of men and children. I don’t know why but every time I just think I am thirsty a glass of water appears. My wife even knows when I am getting hungry. It’s like she knows my every need just at the right time.
Getting Serious
One thing to remember is a Thai girl will almost NEVER tell you she loves you. She shows her love by taking care of you. Don’t for a moment think she doesn’t love you because she doesn’t say it. Actions are what counts here and words mean very little when it come to love and romance.

Cotton is popular for shirts and dresses since it "breathes" in the hot and humid air. In markets like Changklan, you can find cotton jackets, shirts made by hilltribes, dark blue farmers' shirts and casual clothes. Other cotton products are like bags, purse, blouse, pants, skirt, etc.
Serves cheap Thai food and located in the middle of the night bazaar. Dined there twice during our trip. We had Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai (~40baht), Stir Fry Vegetables with chicken, Pineapple rice (we find the rice a little too soggy).
However, the staffs in the restaurant doesnt seem to be friendly though. The menu file is also mixed up. The 4 of us had different menu on our table and had a hard time to differentiate which is the latest version. It happened on the both occasions that we visited the restaurant.
There is an internet cafe just beside the restuarant too. We didnt try it out though. Steamboat Tom Yum soup.
This is Chiang Mai’s most famous temple. It is situated on the mountain, just outside the city. At night, it was possible to see the lights of the temple from Chiang Mai City.
It is a very peaceful retreat, even with the amount of visitors. There are steps you can take to reach the Wat, or you may use the funicular. It is not that hard to climb the steps.
The Wat is a complex of beautiful buildings and several Buddha images.
Remember to take off your shoes before entering the main courtyard. Also bear in mind that this is still a religious complex, where people are worshipping.
