little known guesthouse near Thapae gate

I was wandering down a back street looking for a palce to stay after coming from the airport and a lot of places were full which I didnt expect, but luckily I found Rama guesthouse which had rooms available. It is a family run business and the owners Mrs. and Mr. Nok were wonderful. There was a restaurant downstairs where their sons and sons friends worked. Mrs. Nok's sister I think drove me and a friend to the bus station once as well.

Unique Quality: The food downstairs is very good and Rama provides many excursions. I organised my trek and Bunji jumping wiht them and was very satisfied. Rama is not in many guidbooks and maybe thats the way the owners want it I dont know but they made me feel very at home and I was pleased that they rememebred me when I came back after about 10 days. The rooms were good - about 250b for a fan,double bed,bathroom and balcony thing.

The food downstairs is very good and Rama provides many excursions. I organised my trek and Bunji jumping wiht them and was very satisfied. Rama is not in many guidbooks and maybe thats the way the owners want it I dont know but they made me feel very at home and I was pleased that they rememebred me when I came back after about 10 days. The rooms were good - about 250b for a fan,double bed,bathroom and balcony thing.
