Close to the night markets and old town.
There is no pool but it is a short walk to their sister hotel where you can use their pool.
The outside of the hotel does not look very nice. It is in a lot that is a construction area. I was concerned when we pulled up and saw how dirty and dusty was, but honestly the rooms are much nicer than the outside.
They also have an excellent breakfast with both traditional Thai dishes and European style.
It was a good place to stay for the money
The rooms that have balconies are the same price as the balconies with a exotic garden. Ask for those. They are the same price.
Also the air conditioners prone to break down but they will upgrade your room if that happens.
The Star Inn hotel is located in the heart of Chiang Mai, just a short distance from the famed Night Bazaar, Changklan Road, the Anusarn Market, a food center, and a business center.
