We stayed at the Dusit in April 2007. The hotel facilities were 5 star but the best thing about the hotel was the service at reception on arrival. The staff asked to check our departure flights and found that our flight to Bangkok (connecting with a flight to Sydney Australia) had been cancelled. (Thai Airways had not bothered to either contact us or book us on the next flight). The lady on reception rang Thai Airways with little satisfaction but offered to go to the airport the nexct day to try to sort out the problem. A shuttle bus was provided at no cost and the driver waited at the airport till alternative arramgememts with Thai Airways had been agreed to. I have travelled extensively but have never encountered this level of service from a hotel before.
