Rimkok Resort Hotel an out of the way hotel
We stayed 4 nights here and have a mixed review,
The price was right but we had a terrible time at check in. We were told they had no reservation for us , even though we prepaid and had a receipt , We kicked up a fuss and finally we got a room... a very bad start. It didn't happen at any other hotel!!
The room was very nice and the included breakfast which was great but the dinner menu was boring and the singer ( an Elvis want to be ) was horrible.
A little too far out of town for our liking!1

Worst hotel experience in Asia
This hotel was horrible - from the minute we arrived. Yes, stupid to stay - but we were very tired, and it is somewhat out of town - had been dropped there in a taxi - and left. So - foolishly stayed. From the moment of arrival, when the snobby manager, who was standing outside the hotel - followed us in virtually eyeing us off like ferals - because we had backpacks - and needing to be consulted by counter staff before serving us! Told us that the advertised "Promotion" rate on a number of sites on the internet had nothing to do with them - and the actual rate was almost double at discount prices!
The room was quite old and threadbare - television had very poor reception (did not even provide service, as they said the whole hotel was affected - although the reception TV was perfect!), food poisoning after dinner, breakfast was the worst trough experience I have ever had........hate to be negative, but it was NOT a recommendable experience! The evening Karaoke was fairly unforgettable - Moon River was the opening number!
To add insult to injury, although we were paying for transfer back to town to get the hell outa there, nobody even carried the bags to the car! Hotel was well out of the way - and charged to 60Bt EACH to be taken to town anytime!

A very peacefull place
A little bit worn out hotel, but good service and nice area. It is a very quiet place, because most tourist groups stay only one night or have lunch and then they continue their tours. There were only a few other tourists by pool.

A: "It is fiffteen years since I took those buses, but still my answer is hopefully more useful than "bagusboy"'s. I don't recall them to go quite as often as every 30..."
