Well located in the centre of town
This rather austere looking hotel is very well located in the town centre, not far from the market and Th Talat Kao - the Walking Street near the river. I had a rather rough and ready, large double room for 350 baht with 2 single beds, some old looking furniture such as a wardrobe, 2 chairs, desk, cable TV, plus an old a/c unit and a bathroom with a hot water shower and a very small toilet that wasn't overly clean. It was OK but a bit shabby with places on the wall where old fittings once were but it did the trick. The Pin hotel, behind the Kim is a better option but then, I think, you pay twice as much. If you're after a good breakfast then head for the Green restaurant that's on the side of the Pin hotel where they do it buffet style for 90 baht.
