Phrae Hotel
Booked room online so didn't bargain for price. Stayed in early May 2006 - Bt850 for a double including breakfast. Nice clean room and friendly staff. Restaurant has good food and large portions, although they are a little heavy with the gravy on meat items. Only drawback is room key is used to turn on the electricity in the room which means that when you leave your room the power goes off! No "star" system in Thailand but I'd give this hotel at least 3.
Unique Quality: Some interesting carvings and furniture on display in the lobby. Adequate mini bar and nice view of the city.
