Nice Room and Good Pool
This hotel was most likely built 20 years ago and would have the best hotel in the city. There were several very large entertainment rooms which made me think this hotel was originally built for business conference and wedding reception business.
Rooms were on several wings with long walkways to reach some of the rooms.
Our room was comfortable and clean with a nice bed and good airconditioning. We had problems with the television , not being able to find English speaking stations.
There was a large swimming pool which we enjoyed. However there were very few pool lounges.
We had dinner in the restaurant, the local food was good but there was a wait for service as there were not enough wait staff.
Overall it was a good overnight stay and suited our requirement.

Wonderful Sukothai
Great hotel - just don't look too closely at the maintenance. The rooms are big, airy and clean but overall the place is run-down and poorly maintained - but hey you're only going to sleep there - you'll spend all your daylight hours discovering the wonders of the Sukothai Historical park. Breakfast in the hotel is good (if not quite as varied as in your Bangkok hotel) but for dinner go across the road to any one of the little local restaurants.
Unique Quality: This is the closest hotel to the Sukothai Historical park - take a local bus from right out front straight to the park's main entrance and hire a bicycle (30B for the day).

A big hotel in Sukhothai
Located 4 kms from the Sukhothai Historical Park and 8 kms.from the city center. They offer big and clean room but a bit dark and not so new.The price begin from 1200 Bahts + ABF.

A: "No idea of timings but there is a bus service between the two cities. Once there ask for directions to the bus station, or ask your hotel to check for you."
