there are 9 bungalows in a beautiful garden just before the BEACH and THE PIER owners are dutch /thai have also the cheapest boattrips to mangrove and islands! bungalows go for 400 /600 and 750 bath for fam. room [2 big beds ] airco and tv and WI FI free check it out wasana ranong blogspot.com/ 077/861434 see you later just 46 km. south of ranong and ask for laemson national park wasana resort....
Unique Quality: beautiful garden with terace sits surrounded with birds and restaurant with good thai food , both speak english and he [dutch] also german and dutch

Limited accomodation
When I visited there were just three options at Bang Ben beach: the beautiful, government owned, bungalows at the National Park Headquarters (but they were closed when I visited) and two small guesthouses with a handful of bungalows each. I stayed at the "Wasana resort" and it was OK. Please consider you're in a National Park, far from any village: food at the resort restaurant is not so varied and there are many insects and other small animals around, even in the well kept bungalows.
