Hi,
Going to Hat Yai on the train from KL, then I want to get to Phuket, I presume the bus will be the cheapest way of doing it.
How regular are the buses and how long does it take, also does anyone know the cost.

I once took a mini van from Hat Yai to Krabi (5 hours) and onward to Phuket by ferry. So, the bus ride to Phuket should be over 6 hours,but for sure it is the cheapest way. Don't know about the bus schedule, sorry.
another option, take the train onward to Surathani, then take a bus to Phuket, check the time schedule and rate at Sawadee.com
The way that meat is stored and sold in Asia has always made me feel a little uneasy. In the hot weather there is no sign of ice or refrigeration and flies are common on the produce. However, it doesn't seem to cause health problems. Perhaps we are too cautious in the west?

The course is opened daily from 6.00am - 7.00pm except on Mondays when it is opened from 12.00 noon onwards. The pro-shop sells a variety of quality golf products as well as Southern Hills' products for souvenir...

Situated beside Barberry Club and Hansa Cafe, this place is bomming with techno music while I was there. Although I am not really into techno but I went in anyway since I was there. Not much to see other than a big bunch if people doing some head banging moves. I heard that they take a lot of estacy pills in this club. Just becareful not to leave your drinks unattended. Anything goes
The majority of Thai families do not own cars but get around on motorbikes instead. Compared to many, the vehicle in the photo represents real luxury as it has a sidecar attached.
I was concerned to see this woman using a mobile phone without a hands-free set though. Surely it would be possible to incorporate such a device into the bike's onboard stereo and entertainment system?
