which is far more have whiter sand beach and clearer water, lanta or phi phi, i need to decide which one? can anybody have opinion
Kok Rok by far surpassm both.
Also check out Koh Hai. The sand was soft and white, the water was crystal clear and the offshore views were spectacular. Get there on the boat from the mainland at Pak Meng or from Koh Lanta by locally hired boat.
I can't really agree with two previous reponds as from prcatical point of view ( how big is beach, what to eat and what assortment , what the size of island - what tod ), Koh Roik and Koh Ha acn't be destination more than overnight :)
Koh Lanta have surely much better beaches in terms of sand.
The clear water you can get only on Phi Phi Lay (thatš uninhabitaed island) or tarvellking from Koh Lanta to day trips to another islands and islets. Water in and around Phuket, Karbia nd Koh Lanta is NOt indeed fanatstically clear, to my undesrtanding beacuse of greatly changing tiode during teh day - sand and so make and influence.
Road side carts selling takeaways.Well u can have the road side as the surrondings.You can also eat at the single table or standing. Curry beef,Fried chicken parts ,chillied fish and vegetables in coconut milk,staple food 1 packet of steamed rice.
This is the long beach.. famously known there in Ko lanta.. so if u are finding nice palce to go.. this is it... look no more.. lotta bungalow and also places to stay here.. just pick and choose.
aaaaaaaaaaah relaxing and watching the romantic sunset with special ones... how nice... this is taken just at the area we are staying at.. called the Santuary.. amazing sunset view u got from here... i love KO LANTA
the mode of transportation... if u are alone... rent a bike.. its easy to go around.. or rent a jeep which will cost you about 1200bath... per day... think twice ya...
or just take a 4x4 rides to ur bungalows and dont go out lol.. its ur choice
