Royal Lanta Resort & Spa
Hi all,
I'm heading to Koh Lanta in March and have booked an executive bungalow at the Royal Lanta Resort & Spa. Does anyone have any experience of the resort?
Also, Mosqiutos are a nightmare for me (they eat me alive). is Koh Lanta mosquito heaven?

Hi,
Although I spend a lot of time on Ko Lanta I don't stay in hotels so can't speak personally about Royal Lanta, other than it is on Klong Dao beach which is the most developed on the island, but that does not mean Samui or Patong developed, it is not even as developed as Ao Nang. It does pretty well in the reviews on TripAdvisor

As for mozzies, its pretty much the same as anywhere else on the coast in Thailand or for that matter anywhere in the tropics

We were in Ko Lanta for four days in November and never saw a mosquito. Don't know anything about your resort, but you can always change if you haven't paid for more than a night or two. We stayed at Lanta Seafront Resort and it was very nice with a great restaurant on the beach. There were very few tourists at the time.
