One of the few on the beach!

I have stayed at Dreamland on both my trips to Tong Nai Pan.....its one of about 10 places to stay on the beach, I would think though, one of the better ones. Price and cleanliness are good....the food is ok as well, the bbq the best. Facilities are decent, with a whole new restaurant recpetion building this yr - they were working on it last yr. Internet access, day tours, scuba and internet - all on site. Workers are friendly and efficient.
Check it out - 5 photos uploaded.

Unique Quality: Full Menu at the restaurant from 7am to 10 or 11pm. Group Taxis 100 baht to Tong Sala.
Bungalows with fans and cold water as well as ones with A/C and hot showers about 200 baht more.......great location.

Cheap but expensive bungalows

We stayed at the Dreamland Resort on Koh Phangan over the Christmas holiday. Great beach, and the bungalows are very nicely decorated. We stayed in one that is right on the beach for 600 baht. It's really nice to hear the sound of the waves crashing on the beach as you fall asleep. The A/C rooms are twice as much and not on the beach. The bungalows are a bit too crowded together, which doesn't offer very much privacy.
The restaurant is crap. It's very VERY expensive. 100 baht for a curry, 110 baht for Pad Thai. The western food is the same price except the portions are very small. They figure because the resort is out in the middle of nowhere, that they can charge whatever they want. The minimart is the same way. 150 baht phone card will cost 170. Internet is 3 baht/minute. However, there is at least one noodle restaurant just outside the resort that offers very VERY cheap good Thai food. After a few days we discovered this place and just stopped going to the restaurant at the resort.
The minimum stay is 6 days, but we only stayed for 5 and they gave us the money back -- went back to Samui. Very nice beach and lovely weather. Out in the middle of nowhere, so there are very few tourists. But it'll cost you 100 baht to go to Haad Rin, and even more to come back.

Ready to relax?

Bungalows at the beach. Great bungalows with hammocks. The food is good, the staff is friendly. Interent access. Quiet beach, with ladies waiting to give you a massage. We stayed here for about a week, and relaxed. A quiet change from Koh Samui.
If you are interested in the full moon party. Don't worry, you can take a boat from the beach around to that side of the Island.

Unique Quality: Location, Location, Location. A small quiet beach, located in a little cove. A green hillside in the background.

Lovely beach, good stay!

Situated at a wonderfull quiet bay at Hat Tong Nai Pan Yai beach, you'll find Dreamland Resort.
We had a wooden hut directly on the beach.

The hut conained the folowing. A bed, ven, a shower and toilet. Some chairs at the terrace. Some huts had a hammock. That's it. Don't expect much luxury here, just enjoy the beach and amazing view and use the hut only for sleeping. Accommodation here is slightly cheaper than the rest of island

Unique Quality: -directly on beach
-restaurants
-shops
-bike rental (200-250B/day)
-internet cafe
-taxi jeep service
-possibility to book daytrips

Your own hut at the beach!

A hut on poles with some chairs / a hammock , a bed, a mosquitonet, a cold shower and toilet is what you can get at Dreamland Resort.

Unique Quality: You have a view at the sea and when you climb down the stairs of your hut, your standing directly on the beach.

Besides the nice surroundings this resort also has some other nice extras:
* Internetcafe
* it's own taxi jeep service
* divingtrips
* restaurant
