Best (more upscale) atmosphere in Koh Phangan
Milky Bay is one of the best places I have ever stayed. This resort has the nicest staff I have ever met, and you leave feeling like you are leaving your family. The rooms are very comfortable with all amenities (cable tv, hot water, mini bar, a/c etc.)... the villas are especially nice. The grounds were very thoughtfully planned and are shady and plant-filled. It has a great gym, lovely pool area, nice spa (though the massages are not great) and a lively bar with pool tables and excellent cocktails and wine. Also has a good internet cafe and wifi as well. The restaurant is quite nice and has a live lounge singer, Dani, who will entertain you at dinner. Very reasonably priced for what you get and in a convenient location to get around the island. Highly recommended. Amazing people.
