Best place on Ko Phangan
Everything top notch. Stayed way longer than we planned. Each day we'd find an excuse to stay another night.
We stayed in the off season, so the cost was reasonable.
Unique Quality: Buffet breakfast - check out the banana pancakes.

High place to stay...
The resort is situated 45mins away from the ferry terminal. There will be a lot of complaints tho due to the bumpy ride, going up the mountain and going down but when we reached the resort, it was breathtaking. It sure worth the trip. And frm the resort, its only 15mins boat ride from the beach, to the full moon party in Haad Rinn. Other than that, the staff in the resort are friendly and kind enough to give us an exact details on the transportation to and fro for the Fullmoon party. THe room is perfect too....clean,big and spacious. The view from our room are awesome.

Relaxing hideaway
Really enjoyed our stay at the Panviman resort. We opted for a hotel room, although I think there are villas available also. The room was spacious and very clean, with a small balcony. The resort is built on the cliffs of a rock on Thong Nai Pan Bay.
Would definitely recommend this hotel as the perfect place to get away and relax.
Unique Quality: This hotel has amazing views. While sunbathing by the pool or standing on your hotel balcony you will be able to look out over the sea and the two beaches on either side. Nice clean pool and a poolside bar serving drinks and snacks. The resort has two restaurants - one on site, the other on the beach.

The best place on the island
Everything about this place was spectacular. The service was great, the rooms were HUGE with a beautiful balcony with an amazing view. I definitely recommend this spot.
Unique Quality: The pool is deadly. The restaurant had great food and amazing service. The only complaint was the atmosphere - it needs a little work, maybe candles, some music. Try the spicy shrimp.

Hi ,
I don't know the resort you look for but this island is unique , I went on the right side of the pier when you arrive by boat , did cross a small village and then turn again on the right side and did find a nice homestay kind of , I had a small bungalow with cold shower and private bathroom for 4.50 CAD with the breakfast and i was 15 steps from the beach , was very clean and uncommon place had a good stay warm people who owmn the place , there's a few of them in the same area so visit and choose the one that fit you most like I did , don't like to sleep in dirty place ............and at that price I felt very surprise and so happy , the cheapest room and the most exotic place for the way I was feeling last year....

Hi,
I have never stayed there, but I have been about 20 times at the Tong Nai Pan
Bay. The Panviman is at the Tong Nai Pan Noi Bay but I prefer the other side ( Tong Nai Pan Yai ) Anyway the beach is absolutely fantastic and the Panviman is probably the best resort / Hotel in Koh Phanghan.But therefore the people who are staying there are sometimes a little bit to much " tourist" . You won`t find so many travellers in that place.
But try it, it is beautiful and you will never forget it !!
