Phi Phi Hill Resort

View from the Hill...worth the climb!

This place has gotten mixed reviews, but for the price i gave it a try, and Im glad I did! This hotel is on Long beach, so its a 80 baht longboat ride from the ferry. The hotel is at the end of the beach, and up a very, very steep hill, so you have to be a sort of shape or at least willing to get a little execise on your vacation to make the trek. The views from the top are incredible! They have a pulley contraption to get your bag to the top which is a plus. I stayed in a sunrise bungalow for only 650 baht ( about $18 ) and it was fan only , but fine because their was a nice breeze at the top, with screened windows that opened up to let in the breeze. The bungalows were good size , with wood floors, and decent enough bathrooms with a cold shower ( it was all you needed) for the price. They had a great balcony with chairs so you could sit outside and enjoy the view, the sunrises were amazing and worth getting up for ! The sunrise bungalows were just as nice, if not better than the sunset one which were more, 1000 baht. The restaurant had good food, and the staff was nice enough and seemed to be trying to be more pleasant than past reviews. This is a great deal for PHi phi, which is a more pricey place to stay than some other thailand islands.

Unique Quality: The sunrise views, and the views from the restaurant at breakfast...wow!!
