Need a bit of splurge?
I shelled out the $40 or so to spend a few nights relaxing in style at Aloha Samui beach apartments. The bungalows are a good size, air conditioned and seconds away from the pool and lamai beach. The breakfasts are good, even by western standards, and the custom omlettes are a real treat. The staff were friendly and helpful although some of the other guests were a little...well, you know.
