At the Chaba - Chaba Cabana!
We only spent one night here due to accommodation stuff up, so i can't tell you too much about the restaurant or pool or anything else really!
Unique Quality: It was a nice quiet, clean hotel, could recommend it based on what I saw. Still a tuk tuk ute or taxi ride to Chaweng Beach. Has an excellent local Thai restaurant just a few doors down at the top of the hill, where my husband and I got chicken and rice, sprite, seafood and rice and a coke for $1.50 Australian!!

We're staying here in September and wondered if anyone knew how far and how long it would take to walk to the centre of chewang
any info much appreciated.

It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the centre. We were there last year with our 11 year old son and we walked there and back with him nearly every evening.
If you do not want to walk there are songthews back and forth all the time and they are very cheap
