Laem Sor Pagoda

This temple and Pagoda is located between Bang Kao and Trong Krut on Samui's southern coastline.
I didn't see any people around at all as it is off the beaten track as far as most tourists are concerned.
The statues at the entry to the Laem Sor Pagoda are very colourful and interesting and I'd love to know the significance of them.
This pagoda quite large and is situated right on the end a head-land between Bang Kao and Thong Krut and would be able to be seen a long way out to sea.

Two very well known dance clubs on chaweng beach, the green mango and reggae club. Personally, i like reggae pub better cos its big and very open, big dance floor and there are some tables on the side facing the water for people to chill out and chat and relax. no dress code, even u wear flip flop

the cheapest public transport to bring u round the island is by taxi, "tut tut". it is around 50 baht per ride no matter where u stop. always remember...ask for the price FIRST before u hop on any vehicle.

This restaurant has a nice friendly ambience,spacious & good efficent service.
One thing to consider if you eat here is they add a 10% service & 7% VAT charge on top of the menu prices Really enjoyed the Pad Thai
Big Buddha

it;s a 12 meter golden image of Buddha
If you join the jungle safari trip, they will take you to the Big buddha, at the very end of the trip, just before going back to the hotel.
