This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The gardens are amazing and the accomodation was understated luxury. The staff were extremely friendly and always on hand to advise on local excursions etc. The restaurant served beautiful food and service was excellent. The pool was beautiful and the views out to sea were spectacular. The on-site spa was out of this world and it was there that I had the best massage of my life. I cannot recommend this place enough. Book it! Now!!

Chaweng Beach is nowadays a crowded place. However there's still places, which are more peaceful and still pretty close to shops and bars.
Unique Quality: Coral Bay Resort has 53 bungalows which are set amid 10 acres of lush tropical gardens.
In general atmosphere is lazy, almost too lazy. But if you are looking for a moderately priced bungalow near Chaweng Beach, I'd recommend Coral Bay Resort.

In Koh Samui there's a lot of excellent spas. My favourite is Eranda Herbal Spa. It's located in north Chaweng, near Coral Bay Resort.
It's builded in a steep hillside and the wiev is magnificent. And because it's an outdoor spa, the wind breezes mildly.
In Thailand you have to have a traditional Thai massage. It's so relaxing and at least for me it was a bit funny too.
Eranda is not the cheapest spa in Koh Samui, but it's worth visiting.
Coral Bay Resort
We havv booked the Coral Bay Resort for a week in mid February. Any one have any expirience with this resort? Any idias of nice resturaunts on the island? Also want to take diving lessons (have never done so), any idias?
I found a great Italian restaurant there. Docle Vita great food and service

Not sure were u r from but I got a quote on the 4 day PADI course and its actually alot dearer to do it in Ko Saumi then in Australia.
