where to stay
We are going to Koh Sumai, and would like to stay in a nice bungalow place. We would like to stay on a nice, clean beach, near the night life if possible, but not right in the middle of it. We would like to spend approx 3500 bht.

i can recommend the samui natien ressort to you..it's not so expensive, has a very nice beach..is on the end of chaweng..so in 3mins you are in the centre but you have no trouble with fuss.

another very good hotel ist the imperial samui (www.imperialsamui.com) in chaweng noi...one of the nicest ressorts i every stayed..but it's also very expensive.

the most nearest to thenight life is Samui Mandalay Resort behind the Pizza Hut restaurant. Its now going for 900 baht per night. but you need to book early and its always fully booked. good and very popular with tourists

hey there is a nice resort called seacrest or seawave its on the main chaweng road quite near the bottom(not airport end) its right on the beach and prices vary from 2300 for a bungalow on the beach or 1000 for a bungalow nearer the reception..It is very nice place, the staff are friendly and if you a romantic they change the beach into a restaruant at night with candles soft music that kinda thing...I stayed there for the first 2 weeks of a 3month stint in samui and only left cause i found a place for 400 which suited me better as i was there 4 3 months and didnt really need air con and tv...Either way enjoy your holiday
