my Honeymoon :(
I spent my honeymoon in Lawana Resort in Koh Samui,
it was my first Time in Koh Samui but the last Time in Lawana Resort in bophut at Beach.
the resort is nice and some of waiter and waitress are very nice.
The problems: nobody speak english or german, only thai.
Not once came our order from the Restaurant, as we had ordered. any time they was bringing something else and we had to eat this or it was on our bill, even we didn't eat.
nobody can answer a question about hotel and around the hotel, even not front office and very unpolite manager.
we got informed at places outside and from tour rep's, which is not staff of the resort.
very disapointed.
It was the worst holiday ever. and it supposed to be our honeymoon.
the price is very high, too..
I can not recommend this Resort. I will not go again, even not for free.
Unique Quality: location very nice, on the Beach and some nice and polite staff, also around the hotel very nice and friendly people. the tour rep from the Resort on the beach very polite, nice and gave all information we need.
Bophut Beach is amazing. there are many hotels around for less budget and very good service.

Which resorts do you recommend in Koh Samui? I want to stay in a modern 5-star resort that's a bit of fun. Any suggestions?

We stayed at the Amari Palm Reef was fantastic and would definitely stay there again.

If you want real luxury at Samui I would check out any of these top 3 places. All of them seem to be more than I could dream of anyways.

I'm not sure which resort should be the best of 5 star luxury resort @Koh Samui
there're most famous resorts in Koh Samui, such as: Four Season, Anantara, Marriott, Six Sense and Amari
I've been visited only one - Anantara Lawana Resort, I think this resort very beautiful.
