Koh Samui + Chewang beach front resort/hotel + comfortable + clean + nice breakfast + budget around $50-$100

from your request, sounds like 5-Star resort/hotel & luxury room.

Push up your budget/night then you'll have many choices.

For budget approx. $150-&200 per night, I recommend to find from special packages.

Travel Tips for Ko Samui

Coconuts

by ratherton

There are a huge number of coconut trees on Samui (not a native plant, coconut trees were introduced by the Chinese) and your can often find them on the beach. We took a couple back to our hotel where I proceeded to open them. I had a fairly sturdy diving knife and it still took me a good 15-20 mins to get to the centre of the coconut. Once inside you get natural coconut milk and un-factory-ised coconut flesh (is that the right word?). It was hard work but a useful skill in case I ever get stranded on a desert island

Football Golf

by austarman

Not far from Bohput on the back road to Chaweng via Chong mon there is a relativly new tourist attraction to Koh Samui.
This is football golf.
It is the same as normal golf wiith all the obsticles and hazzards except you have to kick the football into the hole.
It is an excellent 18 hole course. All you need is a scoresheet and soccerball which are provided as well as a free drink.

Lady boys caberet

by clouds111 about Star Club Caberet

A must see when coming to Thailand and such a good night out. The Star Club caberet starts around 10-10.30 and is great entertainment. Watch the Lady boys prance up and down and sing to classic camp songs. Absolutely gorgeous figures so ladies try not to get too jealous! ;) Anything

Bangkok Air Departure Lounge

by jamiesamui

The Bangkok Airways departure lounge is a comfortable place to while away the time whilst waiting to board your flight to Koh Samui

The Bangkok Air departure lounge at Bangkok Airport offers you a nice range of free pastries & drinks/juices & also free internet use, they ask you to limit your use to 15 mins at a time this is not really enforced but I have found most people generally adhere to this request. There is also a travel & information desk if you need to know somemore about your destination or you haven`t yet booked your accomodation.

To access this area you need to locate gates 1-4 (easy)go through a hand luggage & person screening then show your passport & boarding pass but be aware that once inside you can`t leave.

Bangkok Air normally start boarding 30 mins before your flight time so if you enter this area about 1 hour you`ll be fine.

Jungle Tour

by Princess_Emily

During our stay on Samui we booked a day jungle jeep tour. One of the many stops was at a rubber tree plantation, now I'm not talking about a 5 second stop to snap off some pics of tress, on this tour, we stopped, got out of the jeep and our guides gave a detailed explanation (see the look on Emilys face) on how the rubber is collected. This was one of the best tours i have every been on, mainly because of the friendly and informative guides we had with us that day.
