Weekender Resort in lamai beach is a nice place to stay. The bungalows are close to the beach. And it's close to shops, restaurants, bars and Thai massage parlours.

Weekender Resort and Hotel offers pretty accommodations right on Lamai Beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Have an open view massage area facing the beach for only 200 baht.
Unique Quality: They offer individual bungalows with decent facilities. There is enough space between bungalows for adequate privacy. Pricier bungalows will be right on the beach.

Try a stay at Sun Garden Resort, Lamai beach, Koh Samui. The bungalows are in Thai style, there are a lot of trees around, giving you shadow, when you need that. It´s rather cheap (600-800 bht/ night for a double bungalow) and the beach is ourstanding, specially in the evening! Not far from Weekender Resort, try it, and you will like it!!!
Visited Weekender resort 5 years ago and it was fantastic, plan to go back this year but have read some terrible reviews about it anyone been there recently/ Can you gin\ve me an update? Also if anyone has a good alternative for around 1000 - 1500baht a night? Must be in Lamai
Check out the Lamai Beach location of the Spa Samui. It's a great bargain and has great vegetarian food. Regular restaurants are very close by.
