Only One Thing is Required...Your Passport!
by Aidy_p
Pack light. If you're really into thrill seeking, pack nothing at all except for an empty bag and the clothing that's on your back. You can buy the necessities in and around Krabi town. Sandals will help keep your feet from turning sour. If you're game to try out the hot stuff in Krabi, be prepared for some stomach churning action. Hopefully it's for a short while.
Tiger Airways
by Carino
Tiger Airways is flying daily from Singapore to Krabi for as low as SGD 100 incl. Tax.
Book well ahead or wait for some special deals.
But even if you book just a few days ahed, the price should not be more than SGD 200 to SGD 300.
Local Thai Pancake
by flying_dolphin7
You can see the Thai Pancake almost every street at Krabi. It's local foods and its quite similiar with Malay Roti Prata. Good taste and cheap price, my friends and i try this everyday in Krabi. There's different kinda flavour such as Banana, strawberry, chochalate, sesame, egg, milk.. but the famous one is banana. Try this when you were in Krabi.
Tabkaak Beach
by Wann
We stayed in Ao Nang Area and felt like to visit other beaches of Krabi. We did 30 min drive to Tabkaak Beach. Its very quiet there compare to Ao Nang. The long sandy beach overlooks the small islands in the sea is quite nice. There's some big resorts in the area. I think beach is nice but things to do here might be very limited.
Phi Phi Island
by Superpro
We took a one day trip to the Phi Phi islands. The big island is developed with lots of bungalows and restaurants. It has a great beach, and great views.
The small island is uninhabitant with cliffs rising on all sides. The Maya bay with the beach is great.
