Maritime Park and Spa location is about in the city center. To go to the city, you have to walk around 10-15 mins along the river.

If you walk along the river bank, you will see the first colorful building near parking lots. It's a new guesthouse called @KRABI PURA. From there, You can find the reasonable price for ticket and tour. From my experience, it's a trustable agency --> "Frank Tour". If you couldn't find it, ask the local people.

You could also ask for more services such as laundry, internet, motorbike and car rent, international call, sivenior, and etc. from there.

For the night market, walk a bit to the pier, called Chao-Fah Pier. Overthere, you'll find the local night market food.

Have fun :-)

Travel Tips for Krabi

Snorkelling

by j-san

Here we tried snorkelling around Bamboo Island. I only saw the same little yellow striped fish and dead coral. In fact dead coral was all I saw at every spot. One couple said that when they swam further out to the dark blue water they could see pretty red coral.

From Ao Nang to Railay

by Restless-in-kl

It's a quick longtail boat ride from Ao Nang beach itself to Railay peninsular. Boats run all day, and the beautiful boat ride from Ao Nang takes about 15 minutes. Don't forget to take out your camera. The limestone outcrops that dot the sea are spectacular!

Island exploring !

by Aquacraig

From Ao Nang beach or any of the beach front hotels you can take a long tail or speed boat out to the islands for the day. The speedboats usually carry masks and snorkels so you can jump in for some coral sightseeing!
The reefs around Phi Phi are great and full of marine life.

I would suggest picking your whether before you go. If its not a calm day I would be going on the larger ferries that leave from Krabi Town. The speed boats are quite well maintained but in rough whether the smaller speed boats are out of their depth! Ask to see the lifejackets and make sure they are in good condition. Its a long trip so its better to be a bit demanding in this area.

Trekking around

by gabyne

It's very nice not only to walk along the beaches but also in the jungle behind. There are several footpaths and you feel like being on some expedition... Just a few metres away from the beach and it's like in the middle of a thick rainforest.

You can see a lot of interesting plants and trees, also stalagmites on the limestone walls.

Kayaking

by Sambawalk

Kayaking is enjoying in the Krabi islands. There are day tours which combine island hopping and kayaking together. The sea is calm, as you can see, so no worries. The day tour may cost 1000 baht up, depends on the tour contents and duration. There are half day or full day in various places.
