Krabi Resort
One of the few beachfront resorts in Ao nang. Beachfront and garden view bungalows and luxury mountain villas with sunken bathtubs.

Family Resort
Nice, picturesque and a quiet hotel. But breakfast are lousy. Nothing much to choose. Not many facilities but room is nice, clean and big. walking distance to the shopping areas.
Unique Quality: a resort hotel located between Ao Nang and Nopparat Thara beaches surrounded by two acres of exquisitely designed garden, a unique swimming pool. The interior lobby decor in contemporary Thai style creates an enchanting atmosphere blending in the natural surroundings.

Ao Nang Beach Recommended Accomodation
We had a great time at the hotel with good service and room facilities. Deluxe room has a bathroom bathtub with open window facing the TV/bedroom. Room very clean and food is great. We went in a group and had 2 dinner buffet there. It was the best food we had during our stay. Excellent location with walking distance to Ao Nang Beach.
Unique Quality: The hotel is well known for its huge pool which we were not able to enjoy due to renovation during the month. So tourists are in for a treat after September with its new revamped pool. Great view from the room and clean. Saw the exercise room with good gym equpments.

LUXURY
This hotel wea excellent. The pool is spectacular. You can sit right beside it and eat a buffet breakfast every morning. It is walking distance to the beach and the town. The service was outstanding. Overall a great experience!
Unique Quality: The resturant is wonderful, it sit right beside the pool which is split level. The pool has a swim up bar. You can upgrade your rooms and have your jaccuzi right outside your porch which is joined to the pool.

Krabi La Playa
This hotel was beautiful. We upgraded to the suites that have direct access from the balcony to the pool. We used the pool a little too much until I was sunburnt very badly (the time went by so fast). The food at the hotel restaurant was good and if you like spicy, they have some spicy items on the menu.

Pleasant stay on Ao-nang
We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. We love the huge bathroom and the spacious rooms. One thing though, the TV has limited programmes, which would spice up the night since there's nothing much to do. It was ok, as I brought a book. We had the superior rooms, not much of a view. But the deluxe rooms had a better facing and I believe a better view.
Unique Quality: The rooms are large and clean and the hotel staff are friendly. It is a new hotel - not officially opened yet. There is a nice swimming pool. Some of the deluxe rooms on the ground floor can private access to the pool from their balcony.

Very nice resort
Very new, clean and very beautiful. Not many pictures of it online. It just opened and we were their first guests. Standard rooms are spacious and very big with a zen design interior. Some ground floor rooms have part of the beautiful pool as their 'backyard'. Would recommend these type units (see photo) - you have to specifically reserve them. Beautiful!
Conference room a 3/10. First there's a silly pillar with a conference table running around it. The fella who gets the seat just behind the pillar can get to sleep during the conference session hooray. The ceiling leaks when it rains heavily.
Other than that everything else is rated 11/10. Price varies with travel packages. About average compared to surrounding resorts in the vincinity.

I have booked to stay at the Krabi La Playa for 9 nights in August. Can anyone tell me what the poolside rooms are like? What does it mean by an integrated whirlpool? Is this a jacuzzi on the balcony or is it part of the swimming pool?
Any other comments on this hotel?
