Great vista from here
by sourbuggerSituated a couple of Km's to the north (you can get to it by Sonthaw) and off the road abit, it has the appearance of some of the concrete slabs that dominate the south of Spain. It may not be in keeping with it's surrounding - but what surroundings ! - the view over the Krabi river and limestone Karsts from some rooms is very impressive & beautifully relaxing.
P.S try booking through agaencies in the town - they seemed unwilling to negotiate at the hotel itself.
The pool is nice and large, and the health and beauty rooms are situated in little wooden cabins with balconies jutting out over the pool - very serene, if somwhat expensive.
There is also a lake where you can take out canoes and pedalos for a while.
