Krabi (an nang) accomodation query, can you help
I have narrowed our accomodation down to three resorts, Vogue Pranang Bay REsort, Tipa Resort (was called the ocean view resort) or Golden Beach Resort
Does anyone know of these, I understand Tipa has a lot of steps, is this too big a problem. Please help as I need to book as it will be in December. WE are leaning towards the Vogue Pranang Bay. Thanks
Hotel Booking
Need some advice of Aonang hotel booking. Is it cheaper if I just go to any tour agency around ao nang beach to book for hotels or to use the various online hotels travel booking portal? thanks

It depends on when you'll go. In high seasin, especially Christmas and New Year holidays it'better you book in advance (try asiarooms.com). If you go in low season (july - october) you may go around, choose an accomodation good for you and then go there directly to bargain the room.

I stayed at Tipa Resort, got what I thought wasa great walk in rate then found a better one at the travel agent across the road. Ao Nang is one of my favourite places in the world.
Nice hotel?
Hi guys!
I am looking for a nice hotel to stay in Krabi, I would prefer in the beachfront but is not absolutely necesary. I am planning to stay also in Phuket in Patong Baech Resort, I am looking something similar or nicer in Krabi. I would like to stay in a nice area (Ao Nang Beach), near enough to the action. I can spend maximum 2900 thai bath...and very importanti, I am planning to be there the first week of may so I guess will be low seaon. I will really appreciate any comments ans suggestions. Will be my Bday during the week I am planning to be in Phuket and Krabi and I want to enjoyed the max!

We stayed at the Princville, right in centre of Ao Nang. Not a lot of nightlife around Ao Nang, though, but a great spot. http://www.aonangprinceville.com/

I stayed in Ao Nang Princeville and it was amazing. Im still building my krabi page but you can see some photos there.
