    Formally known as the Phra Nang Bay Resort, Vogue Pranang Bay Resort & Spa exudes an incredibly relaxing atmosphere to its visitors. Although some local maps do make the hotel seem like it is a long distance off from the beach, it is actually only a short 5 minutes walk away. Not being located near the main stretch of activities along Ao Nang also meant that you will enjoy a good quiet night's sleep here.

    There is also rustic charm about the Thai-Balinese sort of architecture that has a sort of calming effect.

    Being a 4-star hotel among the predominantly 3-star hotels in Ao Nang, Vogue Pranang stands out as one of the more luxurious and exclusive accomodation options. It also boast one of the better spas within the area.

    • Service was pretty good as we arrived rather early in the morning and as the room was not ready, they offered some suggestions on what we can do while waiting for the room.

    The hotel room was pretty big with a big balcony overlooking the pool. Pretty clean bathroom.

    There isn't any lift for the hotel so beware as the hotel is situated sort of on higher ground and you need to climb quite some steps before reaching your room. Although there are only 3 levels for rooms but still some climbing of stairs is required.

    I chose Vogue Pranang Bay cos' of it has received positive comments from other VTers. As suggested I have stayed in the Honeymoon Suite with a sea view and booked directly through the hotel which is B500 cheaper than the internet published rate!!

    The resort has a big and a baby swimming pools, a fitness centre and a very beautiful spa, Chanang Spa but treatments costs a bit more there. I had a traditional Thai massage in a hair salon nearby and it cost B300 for an hour which is reasonable in Krabi.

    I was quite impressed by the buffet breakfast too. Considering there were no more than 25 patrons, they had food enough to feed a whole army everyday!! When asked, the staff told me they would take the food to the staff canteen when breakfast is finished, so it was good to know they are not chunking the food away.

    The honeymoon suite is really unique with an 'open' bathroom lol. Yes I had to ask my boyfriend to go to the balcony when I needed to go but it was nice watching TV while having a bath!!

    The view overlooking the mountain and the sea from the balcony is very beautiful. I would definitely recommend this resort.

    Just want to show more pics of the hotel.

    Photo 1 - the balcony which is on the 4th floor, it has the best view but it's a walk-up. The bell boys will carry the luggages up though.
