? (in Thai): Phattalong - not much choice

In Phattalong we stayed at two different motels as we were in different areas. Please, be prepared for the accommodations on offer. Very few tourists visit and so standards are not the norm here. If you are lucky you will get air-conditioning. If you're extra lucky you will also find a proper toilet. Beyond that, don't expect much. The rooms are small and you will most likely have to ask for a top sheet (which may be a large sarong (as supplied to us at one place) and blanket as they are not supplied. I'm not even sure about how often the bottom sheets are changed. If you can carry it, take a small bottle of bleach or some footwear to wear in the showers as they are full of mould and one of them had a problem with the drain, so mouldy water was flooding back up.

Take your own face-washers as you will not be supplied any.

Prices range from 300 baht per night to 500 baht per night for Phattalong or Satun, so for the region really.
