Although not situated on the beach, it is very easy to travel to other Laguna properties and also enjoy their facilities. The shuttle bus and boat on the lagoon are both very accessible.
We had booked a golf course view 2 bedroom appartment and our first impressions were of the huge amount of space that we had. A separate room with twin beds for our son and his own bathroom and tv along with a very large living and dining area. A self contained kitchen is also a bonus with children.
The resort has 3 swimming pools and although some of the other resorts have more spectacular pools, these are very adequate and not overly crowded. Our accommodation was very clean and any small maintenance problems we had were quickly taken care of. The staff were all very friendly and helped us in any way that they could. I would highly recommend this style of accommodation for anyone looking for space and quiet, peaceful surroundings.
The Allamanda caters particularly well for families and this was very evident each morning at breakfast where the staff were always attentive to children.
Our son was unwell one night and housekeeping were very efficient in cleaning and preparing our room first thing in the morning.
I was lucky enough to enjoy the Angsana spa and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for some special time out.
Reception staff were always friendly and concierge were the same, often enjoying a joke with our son.
Our appartment overlooked the golf course which was very relaxing.
On the whole I would recommend this property in every sense. We chose this for value for money and that was exactly what we got. Phuket is a fantastic place for a holiday and we will definately be back.
