Awesome rooms, great breakfast & good location

We had booked the hotel through Agoda and had written a mail to the hotel requesting them for a room with great views. When we checked in, we were given a warm welcome and told that our mail was received and the management has made efforts to provide us what we requested for.

Also there is a board in the lobby, it had our names and a welcome message. I found it really nice! Also, the Iced tamarind tea served as welcome drink was great. We requested the front desk to show us the suite they allotted and also show us a suite on the highest available floor.

The bell boy took us up and down and showed us the 2 rooms twice with smiles and suggestions. we finally chose a room on the 15th floor- 1510, coz we could see the sea from the entrance to the balcony. The view was awesome and sooo romantic, perfect for our wedding anniversary!

It was a spacious room with all amenities and a nice compact bathroom. The views from our bed, the sitting area and balcony were amazing.

Unique Quality: I loved the hotel coz it was very close to the main patong market and nightlife, yet not right on it. Also we could walk mostly and save 200 TBH each time on tuk-tuks.

The hotel pool was really huge and nice and peaceful enough at the time we visited.

The breakfast served at the hotel was very nice and full of variety and the staff were lovely. They even got us a lovely pineapple cake for our anniversary!

Loved the Andaman suites!

Andaman Beach Suites

We stayed at Andaman Beach Suites twice over the years now.

The hotel is high rise. Facilities are good, location is great, close to everything, staff are lovely. Ten minute walk to Bangla Rd, five minute walk to beach.

There are 2 lifts in the hotel, sometimes they are a bit of a worry, lots of clunking noises, once the door wouldnt open. Though the hotel itself is good, just a couple of minor things need fixing.

This hotel is owned by Club Andaman (over the road, next door) so you can use the facilities at Club Andaman as well and charge meals etc.

Unique Quality: Great views out over the ocean from the higher floors.

Nice big rooms with coffee table and lounges. The junior suites are bigger than a normal sized hotel room, some of these have been redone (on the lower floors) and have bigger and nicer bathrooms and also have lots of kitchen cupboards and a kitchen sink.

Room 612 is huge with 2 balconies. Highly recommend this room!!!

The Suites Restaurant offers all day casual dining with a good selection of Thai and International dishes. The Poolside Snack Corner has burgers, sandwiches, drinks, cocktails etc.

There is a Kids Room, 2 tennis courts, a Fitness Centre and Sauna.

Inhouse facilities include a spacious lobby and reception centre equipped with the latest in communications and secretarial facilities.

Patong Beach hotel (2 bedroom rooms)

We returned from Phuket today (30th October 2005) and stayed at the Andaman Beach Suites, which are located at the northern end of Patong beach, but walking distance to main shopping areas (10 minute walk). We had a two bedroom, two bathroom family suite. Travelling were my husband and myself and our 20 year old son. Price was less than AUD$200 more per person for 13 nights than a triple hotel room. The hotel is 4 star and much cheaper than booking two adjoining rooms at other hotels. Staff very friendly. If you stay there please say hello to Surin, waiter in restaurant at breakfast from Anne, Kym and Daniel from Adelaide. Would definately stay there again.

Unique Quality: Best feature for us was that there were 2 bedrooms which give my husband & myself and our son our own privacy and two bathrooms saved any congestion regarding toileting and showering etc. Living area and both bedrooms all had balconies. Family suites are located 5th-8th floor.

Breakfast was ok, but better if you know to ask for extras which are not on the buffet. Can order from the kitchen waffles, pancakes, banana pancakes (our favourites) etc. Restaurant staff were very obliging.

Helpfull People

Well my stay here was wonderfull, the staff are more then helpfull.
Each day they would greet us with a huge freindly smile and ask about our days adventures.
My mate Tyler had his birthday while in Thailand and they presented him with a small card and gift, they must check up on all there guests as we didn't tell them.
Thought it was a good PR of them.
So if you ever stay at the Andaman Beach Suites spend some time talking with the staff, there very helpfull.

Loads of room

Our stay at the Andaman Beach Suies was wonderfull, from the moment we arrived we where treated more like friends then guests. Our names where highlighted on a board in the reception area and from that moment on we where more then happy.
Our bags where taken direct to our room, there was filtered cold water in our rooms and tea coffee etc as well, the kettle was a slow boiler that held 5 liters so no waiting for water to boil.
The beds where large, clean and comfortable and the bathrooms had everything you could need, bath, shower etc.
The lounge room was huge with cable T.V. and balcony over looking the pool. Loads of cupboard space in the kitchen.

Unique Quality: The whole hotel was very clean and nothing was a hassle, our air condition broke down and was fixed in minutes of contacting the lobby.
The pool was large and also had a todlers pool as well, there was a pool bar and resturant there as well, full size billard table and internet service.
The view all though not beach front where still very good and its location to the main area of Patong was only minutes away as was the beach.

Can't help you on the rooms but thre Andaman Suites are a large tower a short walk from the beach and close to the nightlife, bars and clubs. There's a pool there, local 7-11 shop and food stalls around the area.
