Luxury!!

Wow, that's what i can say about this Hotel.
Service is fabulous, a truely thai experience, so friendly that i wanted to take them all home. We arrived early and the rsuite was ready even though it iwas 10am, check in was easy no hassel.
The suite over looking our own infinity pool, dropped away to raveal a fantansic view over the ocean and bay below.
Food was in the restaurant was very good, but next time i think i will chose the Villa as it has its own private chef and household staff, so they create anything that i am in the mood for. I had a sneak preview, wow, wow, this is definitely a place for the Jet set...looking forward to the next trip...

Congratulations to the General Manager and his team for a well organised and welcoming resort. We had a wonderful experience, incredible staff, especially at the reception, well appointed rooms, excellent Food and Beverage facilities and the rest from A to Z. .
I will definitely recommend the Andara resort to my friends and business associates.
Once again Thank for to the Management and staff and see you soon.
Simply idyllic!

Having just returned from our honeymoon I need to post a compliment to the management and staff of the Andara. I know we were ‘high on happiness’ being newlyweds and all but the Andara team made us feel so welcome my husband commented that ‘It was like visiting friends’. It goes without saying that the venue was perfect, everything looked as good as the web site, how many hotels can say that!
Architecture and design spot on ...Sure to become an Icon

It's new and there was some pre opening construction racket but this promises to become an Outstanding resort with fantastic facilities and management. Really enjoyed the stay and will be back again next time with the family.
Excellent in All Aspects

Whilst only just opened and expecting some teething problems, the guest experience was exceptional and without the teething problems that one would normally expect from a new opening.
Beautiful & luxurious accommodation, friendly staff and wonderful service throughout our stay. We will be back.
First visit of many - totally divine (construction all finished)

Just back from Andara's big opening party last weekend- what a night! Fabo fireworks. Very glitzy party - way cool. Construction all finished - best sleep in years in those gorgeous beds and what IS the threadcount on those sheets - pure heaven! hard to leave the rooftop jacuzzi tho. SO romantic! Definitely our new weekend getaway. Airport fastrack service is FANtastic - no queues - love it. Staff are so gracious (love K. Pod in SILK Restaurant). We're going to get some friends together for next visit and stay in a villa with a private pool, personal housekeeper and thai chef. Hard enough leaving the Residence Suites, let alone the Villas - have to be seen to be believed. Be sure to check out the beach club- very nicely done and those special buggies - I want one!
Pure luxury and the highest of standards

We arrived at Andara Resort following a fast and furious sightseeing stay in Bangkok . Andara was the perfect choice - an oasis of calm and tranquility - after the hustle and bustle of a city.
We really cannot fault our 10 day stay at this new complex. The exceptional accommodation, fantastic facilities and stunning decor combine to make this resort one of pure luxury and with the highest of standards. The attention to detail provided by Khun Ya and Khun Rea, our delightful Thai housekeeper and cook, made our stay even more special.
Our sincere thanks go to the General Manager and all of his team for their outstanding service and hospitality. We have no doubt that their efforts will be rewarded by the success that they and this resort truly derserve.
Stunning resort, Amazing location, Incredible service

We visited Andara last week for our honeymoon (for 4 nights) and were blown away from the moment we arrived. Our flight arrived very early, yet the Andara staff allowed us to check into our suite at 8am upon our arrival (the earliest we've ever checked in). To add to this, we were permitted a 3pm checkout on the last day, so we really got value for money in relation to the length of our stay.
The suite was absolutely stunning - to the point where we were immediately ringing home to tell our familes how beautiful it was. Highlights of the suite included an enourmous layout, views from all rooms including kitchen bathroom dining bedroom lounge, a rooftop infinity pool, modern and stylish furnishings, v comfortable king size bed....the list goes on.
On the next day, we were we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a huge villa in a beautiful quiet part of the resort. The villa shared the same amazing view, along with the same comfortable bed and an enourmous lap pool overlooking the ocean. The villa had Bose speakers throughout and even had them outdoors facing the pool, so you could enjoy your music all day long whist relaxing by the pool.
We have to make special mention of the service, which was as good as any we've had in any part of the world. Very friendly, obliging and competent.
Silk restaurant was great with an inclusive breakfast that was a la carte rather than buffet. We found this a lot nicer and the food a lot fresher.
Overall, an amazing stay in a beautiful part of Phuket. Kamala beach is so beautiful and the Andara is an amazing place that we look forward to returing to.
doesn't really worth it

No, the construction was not finished, unlike what one of the reviewers commented and actually i woke up the first morning on the sound of drilling. the drilling was coming from the block where i'm staying and from the adjacent block (which is under a different ownership) but the annoying noise was the outcome of the noise from the same block where i was staying. I was very surprised that the receptionist advised me that they should finish some things on time! Actually i should not understand this, i'm going to this resort and paying 890USD for 2 nights to relax on my expensive vacation. For more details, the drilling woke me up at 8:30 or 9:00 am max.
I stayed in block 1 and some 20 seconds long stairs should be taken to reach the elevator, it's no problem from me but i consider not friendly for physically disabled people.
I stayed there for 2 days, in terms of the cleanliness, the room is super clean, tidy and beautiful but the spa is not clean (the sheet i was sleeping on were not changed from the previous customer and were not changed until i notice when the massage started and then i got up and told the masseuse to change the sheets).
The people in the hotel are very friendly just as all Thai people are.
The location is good in terms to go to kamala beach but quiet far from Patong which is a must visit active beach during the night for dinners or clubbing. However, i think that during the day it's nicer to stay in kamala beach rather than swimming in Patong beach.
Regarding the breakfast in this hotel, it's pleasant.
There's the silk restaurant which is on the 2nd floor and it's one of the best restaurants in Phuket, if you don't want to stay in this hotel at least some to the restaurant for lunch or dinner. (you have to try the noodles with prawns and the sauce that contains mango!)
With a far less amount of money one can stay in a 5 stars hotels in a better location and that should be more calm.
From my experience in Phuket, i suggest, depending on you style of traveling to either stay in Karon, Kata or Patong beach. If there are no hotels available, stay in kamala and last important point: Do not swim in Surin beach
Have a nice holiday, and i'm DEFINITELY coming back to Phuket
The view over Kamala Bay is out of this world

We could not fault this brand new hotel. From the welcome by the General Manager to the room, which in fact was a suite, to the food and service to die for in the Silk. If you want the nightlife of Patong it's only 15 mins by car. We would recommend to use the hotel cars, a bit more expensive but as the local taxis seem to be all jalopys, and we were told that were not insured, the hotel cars were worth it. Our driver Maddy was great, and spoke good English. We have told our friends who we understand have already booked.
