I suggest everybody to stay at JW Marriott Resort & Spa or at Marriott Phuket Beach Club (which are fully integrated). It will be an unforgettable experience! Everything is simply perfect, from the very first moment you enter the open air lobby and you are welcomed with a necklace made of orchids. The infinity pool by the lobby offers breathtaking sunsets every single day. Staff is careful and looks after you following all you might need, with a great "can do" attitude. If you stay at Phuket Beach club instead of staying at JW Marriott you get a luxury 2 bedroom suite. The unit is very cosy and nice furnished. The beds are extra confortable and the bathrooms are big and fully equipped. The kitchen doesn't have a wahing machine, but the maid will wash your dishes if you want. The Phuket Beach club is spread on the left and on the right side of the JW's main building and pool. Each complex has its own pool area, but of course you can choose the pool that suits you better. There are several restaurants onsite, which are quite expensive according to Thai standard but believe me, the food is simply delicious! There is an Italian restaurant called "La Cucina", a Japanese one, a seafood restaurant directly by the sea, a newly built Thai restaurant, a Deli outlet (where you can buy excellent and tasty sandwiches and pastries), a grill by the pool, ... Onsite there is also the renowed Mandara Spa which is extra expensive but believe me, the treatments are simply unforgettable! If you prefer spending less, there is a massage service also on the beach. The beach itself is outstanding: long and unspoilt, and the seawater is very calm and ideal for water sports.
THIS RESORT is outstanding itself. 5* ever... One of the best hotel I've ever been... I did not stay at the Patong Beach Hotel, but friends of ours always do. We visited them at their hotel last month, so I decided to take some photos to put up for VT. The hotel has a large pool area with bar area. It was quite pleasant to sit there for a while in the afternoon having a few drinks and snacks. The staff were very friendly. Our friends always choose room 1001 as it has great views of Patong Beach and the pool area from the two-sided balcony. I did think the rooms were small, but nicely kitted out with 4-poster bed and large glass doors which stopped the feeling of being closed in. The bathroom was tiny and only separated from the bedroom with shutters. The Deluxe room on the website link below looks like their room. I think the hotel is about 3.5/4 stars, but seemed clean and well equipped. I would be happy staying here if I wanted to be in the centre of Patong with the beach across the road.
All the facilities are listed on the website. Leave a Comment Theme: HotelComparison: about averageAddress: 124 Thaweewong Road, PatongWebsite: http://www.gothailand.com/hotels/phuket/frameme.php?page=/patong-beach-hotel/
