Travel on a took-took in the middle of Bangkok trafic during rush hour! Thrilling! The people are so unbelivably friendly and really go out of their way to make you feel at home in their country!
This photo is taken at Phang Na Bay in the south of Thailand.

Just sit in your favorite watering hole and in a shorrt while, you will hear a horn being blown and the local food seller will push his cart along and prepare his snacks for the shop and bar workers.
My First Parasailing!

What a nice experience for me! I love it, even though it's only for about 3 minutes (1 small round in the sky) for THB700 (inclusive of tips). It costs THB1,000 for a longer time (bigger round in the sky). I guess just you, and someone to take pictures/videos for you. :-)
Hypermarket Shopping
by jrs1234 about Tesco-Lotus
If you're keen on doing some shopping and want some keen prices you don't have to bargain over, then you could do worse than stop by the local Tesco-Lotus hypermarket. As well as the usual hypermarket selection of bargain foodstuffs and clothes (including good value T-shirts), the Phuket branch has a little souvenir section with some nice handicrafts. I got a lovely cushion cover here as a souvenir at a bargain price.
In addition to the main store, there's also a small mall attached which is well worth a wander around.
It's open from 9am until midnight daily, but these hours may be reduced in the near future - the Thai government is getting rattled by the rise in oil prices and is trying to get people to go home early......
