NEW BYD LOFTS PATONG
Hi i am staying in thy byd lofts in feb and just wanted to know what to expect and are they in a good location. thanks again vt members

i know where they are. they are just behind the Andaman Beach Suites, one street back from Rathuthit road. they are in a really good location as they are off of the main road which makes them quiet, but they are close enough to everywhere to be within walking distance.
they are a brand new development and from what i can see from the outside, they are stunning! they even have a kitchen! there is going to be a restaurant on the ground floor as well as a spa, so i am sure you will love it.

I am also staying at BYD Lofts in February..when are you going? We will be there Feb 22-24, 2007. They look amazing, especially for the price! We paid $3500B per night.

Hi,
I was in Patong last januari and visited the lofts. I can guarantee you that the rate of 3500/night is a real bargain. The apartments are real high class (Plasma TV, high standard kitchen/bathroom). And since the hotel is run by the same people of Baan Yin Dee (www.baanyindee.com), no doubt, the service will be great. I'm also booking my next stay at the lofts, hopefully the rate won't change by then.

Cool Cocktail Bars
Hi
I'm going to Phuket and staying in Patong. I'm keen to find a classy cocktail bar. Criteria
1. One that mixes great cocktails
2. Beautiful sunset views.
3. Cool decor
4. Kick back, lounge music
5. Pataong, Karon, Kata or anywhere else that meets the criteria.
6. Not interested in girlie bars etc.

You could check out the Saxaphone Bar along beach road in Patong, they have cocktails and live Jazz every night, it's quite funky.
Just along the road is Rock City which also does cocktails but the music is heavier.
