Top notch hotel

Went to Thailand in May 2004 and spent 2 weeks at this wonderful resort. From the moment we arrived to the last goodbye the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The level of service couldn?t be any better. The rooms were everything we hoped for and much more, great bathrooms and the beds just perfect, they also included the obligatory tiny lizard to keep the insects away! The spa is world class, don?t miss it. Great pool area +bar, the restaurant is decent but you?ll find much better ones in the neigbourhood without much difficulty. The price was reasonable. Highly recommendable resort.
Phuket, land of beaches

"The Landing"
We reached Phuket from Bangkok by Air Asia flight, it a budget airline so nothing much can be expected from it. On reaching, we checked into Diamond Cottage Spa & Resort, Karon area, now this is a good place to stay especially if you are a couple.
"The main Theme"
Well if you are in Phuket then beaches are all around you. My advice just take an area map, rent a bike and explore the beauty. You have regular tours for the Phi Phi Island & the James Bond Island. you can arrange as per your convenience. I had a blast touring and enjoying so many beaches, but my only regret was not spending much time relaxing. Anyways very close to Karon area is Patong towards the north. Its one stop shop for all the night activities. I must say you will thoroughly enjoy every moment of Patong.
"The Exit"
On our way back we stopped over at Bangkok for about half day or so. Bangkok is very commercial, but the only part we could enjoy was the night market.

I worked at Diamond Cottage resort & Spa before. I was front office manager. In this hotel has two types of rooms. Villa room and Building room. From the beach to the hotel about 200 meter. Now, I have contract with this hotel. If, you are intersting in this hotel. I can give you the special price. In the hotel there are the swimming pool, fitness room and sauna and jacuzzi, and restarant and bar.
