Bteween 30 - 40 USD, Depends on the season and how long you stay. Always Bargain. Great hotel, quite new so its a good feeling, you have all you need and its built in a very nice way, with a beautiful gardens around and beautiful huge pool. The rooms are very big and you can feel really comfortable. Breakfest is great and people around are great so i really enjoyed it.

July 2010.
Stayed in Block 9, 3rd floor (top floor). Superior room; spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.
3 swimming pools; we used the largest, just down from our room. Had lunch at the pool one day. Standard fare, chicken fried rice, fries & cokes. Tasty and also reasonably priced.
Buffet breakfast was good. Good egg station and plenty of choice with fruit juice, cerial, sausage, bacon, potatoes, french toast, pancakes as well as Asian fried rice and noodles. Try and get down for around 0900, as after that time, it gets difficult to get a table.
We did not use the bar or restaurants for dinner as the the hotel is at the southern end of Patong Beach and there is a huge choice of places to eat outside the grounds. The grounds are expansive and pretty.
Exit the hotel left and the beach is 5 mins walk away as are restaurants, bars and shopping.
Exit right and there are also restaurants, bars and shopping. Bangla Road and Jungceylon Mall are about 10-15 mins walk from the hotel

We stayed at the Duangjit 2004 (before the Tsunami). the hotel rooms are good, clean. Only problem for me was, that the rooms facing the pool also face the bar, where they have live music and such until 1 or 2 o'clock in the night. I would go there again, but either choose a room not facing the bar or a bungalow. The bungalows should be new, too, because they were washed away by the Tsunami.
The place where it is is also quite good, a little on the side, away from most noise, but still close enough to the beach and the restaurants and anything you want.

Hi,
I dont like the resort Duangjitt. Yes locationwise it is fine near Patong attractions and not too much inside the attractions.
But rooms are very old style. Plus be careful as one part of the resort is under a very needed renovation and you may get construction disturbances...
