Patong top hotel
We (2 adults & 2 teenagers) have stayed at the Holiday Inn twice both times at Christmas. The staff at the hotel are friendly and couldn't do anymore for you. They always have a smile for you and are very pleasant. The pool in the Busakorn wing is exceptional but the pool in the main wing is OK but I don't stay at this hotel for the pools. The food is fantastic and my children just love the breakfast variety (better than I can do at home that's for sure). The hotel is directly across the road from the beach and shopping is very close. All the restaurants are close by so it is very central. My family and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.
Unique Quality: Exceptional hotel great value !

Great Location
We arrived at the hotel at about 2pm and were promptly checked into our Pool Access Villa and our bags were there almost before we were. The room was cool and clean and there was a gorgeous arrangement of rose petals and two towels in the shape of swans on the huge bed.
The first thing we did was go out into the Busakorn Villa Pool. It was great having your own lounge chairs, and the pool was big enough for the amount of people using it....just us.
We also used the main Busakorn Pool as it has the swim up pool bar which was great.
The service at the hotel was fantastic, they all spoke great english, and the Tom Yum Soup was to die for.
The location was also great, easy access to heaps of shops and restaurants.
I would have no hesitation staying here again and recommending it to all my friends.

Unique Quality: The swim up pool bar in the busakorn wing certainly got a work out from us!!

Nice Hotel resort
We stayed in Holiday Inn for 4 nites. The facility is very nice modern and clean. Staff was very nice the restaurant had great food. The bar is nice. Nothing I can really complain about it.
Unique Quality: Open lobby area. Not air conditioned but kind of a relaxing open atmosphere.

The Busakorn Wing - Secluded Luxury in Patong
The Busakorn Wing is a hotel within a hotel. There is a separate check in area for Busakorn guests which is on reached via the entrance on 200 Pee Road as opposed to the main Holiday Inn entrance in Ruamchai Road (also known as Soi Holiday Inn) which links 200 Pee Road to the Beach Road.
The Villa rooms are a separate part of the Busakorn Wing in a two story block with their own private pool area. The rooms are very well appointed and large. The rooms on the ground floor have direct access to the pool from the back door.
There is a small bar at one end of the pool serving refreshing drinks and snacks so during the day you really do not have to leave the villa area. This is a very relaxing place, but still very close to all the action that Patong is known for. Of course if you do want to use the large pool area in the Busakorn Wing, or the main hotel pool you can do so. One point worth noting is the swim up bar in the main Busakorn pool!
I have no reservations about recommending the Busakorn Wing, especially the Villa Rooms
Unique Quality: Some of the best rooms in Patong and the Villa area is very relaxing.

Patong Beach's Hidden Gem
I was staying in Patong when the Tsunami came. Fortunately I was not injured, although much of Patong Beach was. The Holiday Inn in Patong has since transformed itself into a shining example of; unsurpassed attention to customer service, fantastic amenities, truly relaxing environmental touches that were carefully planned to reflect the Thai spirit of tranquility, harmony with nature and most of all smilng faces. The rooms are extremely comfortable. The air conditioning is always just right. The food is varied and sourced from the freshest markets in the area. I've been going there at least once every six weeks or so for the past year+ - staying from 2-7 days and each time I arrive it's like coming home. The staff know me. They remember what I like and don't like. I am always treated with dignity and respect and quite frankly I think it's the best hotel I've ever stayed in. I travel 200 days a year as an investment banker and this hotel epitomizes what we're all looking for - a home away from home. I highly recommend this hotel to those looking for relaxation, privacy and the best of Thailand.
Unique Quality: The Busakorn wing has a series of pools throughout a maze of greenery and protective elephant gargoyles. The water is always at just the right temperature, regardless of the season. The layout is very friendly to children as well. There are no pushy pool people bugging you to buy more beers, just a really friendly group of Thai people that are there for you. They are there to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If there is a problem, they'll do whatever they can to sort it out. There's even a make-your-own espresso machine and the coffee is actually quite decent. The linens are all extremely comfortable and the bathrooms are laid out in such a manner that makes each room feel more like a suite instead of a stodgy hotel room. Depending on your preference, the views vary. You can have a pool view, which is great - particularly with the sound of the intermittent fountains. The Busakorn Villas have access to a private pool, with equally peaceful intermittent fountains. The ocean view is subjective. There's no need for it in my opinion as the hotel is truly well designed from all angles.

A fantastic hotel in every way!!
We love staying at this hotel and have stayed here four times! The staff are warm and welcoming, the breakfasts sumptous, the rooms comfortable, there is a range of restaurants, it has every amentity available and it is right where the action is in Phuket!! What more could you want?Luxury at a resonable price!
Unique Quality: There are two pool areas-one at the front more for children and a more luxurious pool area in the Busakorn wing.There is a beauty/massage area, gym, children's babysitting and teenager club area, internet service(you do have to pay a small sum) and much more-visit the site!
There are views but only from the front rooms facing Patong Beach.

I went with tour in March 2006. Stay for 3 days in the superior rooms. The Superior rooms are nice. The standard room is decent. All rooms are very clean and modern. (cleanest I've seen in Thailand). Great location.
Unique Quality: Great pools. Three pools. One with bar to walk up to. walking distance to street shopping. Great food in restaurant( very reasonable). Free Gym good facilities The bar has live singing every night. I was very satisfied with the stay. The only thing was the bathroom had a weak vent, and a poorly positioned shower head.

Patong?, Come-ong...
I thing it was a little expensive despite it was good, but I expected more. The room was very nice, a good and king size bed, marvelous pillows, good furniture, very good wooden decoration and a nice pool view; we stayed in Busakorn studio pool, I thought we were going to have a private pool but I was wrong, I asked for one of these rooms which they call villa rooms or sort of but were full, however we realized that these last don’t have privacy at all.
The breakfast was good, fresh and diverse.
We had dinner buffet two days in one of the restaurants and was delicious, a large variety, and the decoration was nice too, it cost 699 Bath plus taxes, which was around US$ 24 per person including one soft drink, so it’s a little expensive too, also because outside of the hotel you can find excellent restaurants much less expensive and delicious too.
We also had a manicure and pedicure at Aspara Spa, but it was very unprofessional because my husband was attended by a lady that was no manicurist, she was therapist and didn’t even knew how to give a good massage in his feet, and the elements they had to work wasn’t good that we finished with pain in our fingers; prices: 600 Bath pedicure and 500 Bath manicure, plus taxes, so, it was around US$ 35 per each…
The hotel doesn’t have a private beach, no one has, but you don’t need it, is better if you stay by the very nice and good pool or run away to karon or kata beach because patong has an awful beach, it’s dirty, full of sellers, umbrellas and the sea color is not as beautiful as in the others!!!.
Hotel staff was very kind and friendly. Service is excellent.

Ideal family hotel Patong Beach Phuket
Located right opposite the beach in Patong the Holiday Inn provides excellent comfort and very good service indeed. Ideal for couples and families, good range of restaurants with reasonable prices. Easy access to Patong shopping and nightlife. The beach road between the Holiday Inn Patong and the beach is very busy. The Holiday Inn Phuket has been a favorite family hotel in Patong beach for many years. Many excellent reviews from elsewhere also, reviews for the Holiday Inn Phuket remain consistently good.
Unique Quality: Great location in Patong beach but like others, across the beach road. The Holiday Inn Patong has excellent facilities and together with excellent location make this a very popular family hotel in Patong.

If you can choose between the Main wing and Busakorn wnig, do not hesitate to pay a little more for the last one... it's worth it!!!
