Kasalong Phuket Resort (Nai Yang Beach) - Great!

This is a brand-new resort at Phuket's lovely Nai Yang Beach run by a very nice manageress, Ple, and a friendly, cheerful, helpful young staff. I loved the beach, but it was great to return here. Much more lux than places we usually stay at, with very nice furnishings. These are not just hotel rooms, they are like one-level semi-detached apartments, all rooms are quite spacious. The lounge has its own kitchenette, perfect for fixing snacks and making tea or coffee. Our apartment had 2 air-conditioners in it, one in the lounge and one in the bedroom. I assume all units are like this. It had a very nice balcony off the lounge with table and chairs and the setting is natural and peaceful - we could only hear the crickets chirping at night. It was kept very clean and had a lovely bathroom with shower.

The resort has a shuttle service to the beach or it is only about a 5-10 min. walk to the beach along a quiet road next to a "jungley" field and a pretty path (see my pics). We always chose to walk because it was so beautiful. A small convenience store and fruit/veggie market are about a 2 min. walk. away with fantastic pineapples.
