There is no online schedule.
Phuket to Patong karon and kata beach Bus is called SONGTHEW (Blue Color, Converted pick up turck and some old buses, you can see the photos on my Phuket page)
Frequency is 15 to 30 minutes and last bus at 6.00 PM, Fare to/from Patong was 25 Bhat 2 years ago. Main Bust Stop in Phuket is near Fresh Market of Phuket on Ranong Road
There are Shared TUK TUK's (Converted small pick up vans) you can get it from Fresh Market or from Intercity Bus Terminal, they also run from 6 AM to 6 PM daily.
Taking a taxi will cost about 300-500 Bhat one way, somewhere in that price range.

Being a beach resort, swimming gear goes without saying; along with one's own goggles for swimming at own leisure (instead of renting snorkelling mask etc). An essential "medical" supply would be anti-seasickness pills for those prone to it and maybe some medicated oil to sooth headaches due to the speed of the boats. A shock-/dust-/water-proof (up to maybe 15metres) camera would come in handy for those underwater moments. Otherwise, an ordinary digital one would suffice. Insect repellant is a necessity! Where there's a beach, or maybe forest, there's bound to be vampiric insects that prefer my blood type. Sun screen/block lotions would also be compulsory. Lastly, a relak attitude would definitely help!
Phi Phi island is one of the most beautiful creation done by nature. it offers crystal clear blue water and uninhabited beaches. Every visitor who came to this island will automatically fall in love with Phi Phi.
Phi Phi offers accomodation ranges from a couple of hundreds bahts during the low season to as high as few thousand bahts per night during the high season.
It is a relatively small island. Therefore, the best form of transport are your legs. You can hike up the hill at Phi Phi which overlooks the entire surroundings of Phi Phi.
Water sports are always available. But it is advisable to play water sports in the morning as the waves are pretty rough in the evening.
At night, no matter where you are, the noise from the pubs and disco are bound to disturb you. After a hard day of diving and snorkelling, the tourists will normally head down to one of the pubs for leisure.
No matter what, Phi Phi island is only not to be missed.
We bought a few things from this shop, mainly 2 pairs of real converse shoes and a heap of diadora soccer shorts for the boys, in fact shorts to outfit a whole indoor soccer team!!!!
The price of the real converse shoes here was amazingly cheap we thought, so Frank got himself a pair of black low-tops and I got Georgia a pair of black hi-tops. Shoes came in about 10 different colours as well. Price for low-tops was 890bt and price for hi-tops was 950bt, PLUS you will get a 5% discount on anything you buy from this store that is full priced, so that made them even cheaper. Around $30AUD for a pair of real converse shoes is indeed a fantastic bargain!!!
Rented a Honda Jazz for about 1300bht per day (including insurance and excess). Great to have especially since I have a toddler travelling with my husband and I. Could go from where we stayed in Kamala Beach to many shopping trips in town, Carrefour, Jung Cylone shopping centre, phuket fantasea, etc
