Very nice hotel

We booked this hotel through Asiarooms.com. Booking was easy. As it was low seasons, we managed to book two rooms for 3 nites for S$56 per nite. Believe year-end peak season the rate should be much higher.

Our check-in was smooth. Staffs were helpful, polite and professional. We were shown our room and briefed on the amennities. They made it a point to know their guests.

The area surrounding the pools was well turfed and planted with shading trees, orchid and other plants. Noticed this hotel is popular with Americans and European families.

The only open concept resturant is right at the entrance to the hotel facing the check-in counter and right next to has two computers for free Internet access.

Unique Quality: We were assigned two rooms on the highest floor, right at the corner towards the end of the main block. View wise, nothing much as the building is too low for view beyond the hotel. Pool view for rooms overlooking the pool.

Room were very clean and well kept. Only drawback seems to be the bath area - no bath tub, only bath curtain, which are too short and result is that the whole bath room floor is wet after bath.

Salathai

Excellent stay, clean confortable very friendly staff.
Very good breakfast included in the price. Close to the most famous Bangla rd ( shopping and night life) but very quite.
Nice restaurant too.
No stinky moquette in the room!!

Relaxing Escape

by Shelliefurr about Salathai Resort

We have stayed in this relatively quiet resort amidst the noisy Patong night life. The place was so lovely, the pool was clean and lovely. It reminded me of Melrose place some :). It was so hard to leave the resort because the pool chair was so inviting and it's refreshing enough to dip in the pool for most hours of the day. The resort also has a stash of books and magazines you can bring to the pool so you can just sit down, relax and rejuvenate. The room, bathroom, small veranda were spacious enough and very clean.

The accommodation also included buffet breakfast and we were always stuffed every morning which was really a perfect way to jumpstart our day (which eerr consists normally of being lazy around the pool). The resort also has a restaurant which served the best pad thai and chicken red curry.

The staff has incredible customer service and never missed to smile back at their customers! If ever I visit Phuket again, I'll stay in the same hotel. Pool is clean with floating gadgets.
Nice pool chairs.
Library rack (with books and magazines in different languages)
Restaurants serving fresh sea food at a reasonable price.
3 minutes walking distance to the Patong Beach.
Near 7/11 and mellow bars.
10 minutes walk to Jungceylon Mall.
7 minutes walk to Bangla Road.
Great place to have a honeymoon :)
