A beautiful wooden structure, a pleasant and well integrated pool, and a perfect location by the sea, just across the road. The only drawback is that we were out of season, and the sea, with the monsoon, was dangerous.

This hotel is set back off the main road but just across from the beach, although it was closed for most of the time while we were there due to rough seas but it didnt matter as we had a pool access room so spent a lot of time lazing in and around that.
The restaurant has a lovely breakfast but we ate our main meal just outside the hotel which was a lot cheaper.
We had a pool access room which was fabulous..upgrade to that if you can - it's definitely worth it.

Haven't heard of that one but can recommend Karon Sea, Sands. We stayed there last year and then went over to Patong and stayed at the patong Merlin - good to have a change of scenery but not a lot happening in Karon - the Karon Beach Resort is also popular..it was booked out for us but you could walk to Kata from there..the sea, sands resort is at the opposite end of the beach...
