Racha Prapa Dam; Surat Thani

Racha Prapa Dam or Chiew-Lann Damn is situated at Ban Ta Kune district, 70 Kilometers away from Surat Thani by high way 401 heading to Ta Kua Pha.

The dam is 185 sq.km. Annually, it produces electricity about 554 million kilowatt an hour. It is built in February, 1982.

If you are a morning person, you can cruise around the damn and enjoy what I have seen. I cannot illustrate how beautiful it is by words. Let the pictures tell you then…
