100 Islands Resort & Spa: 100 Islands Resort & Spa

Our first impressions of the 100 Islands Resort & Spa were pretty good.
We decided on a balcony room for 1000baht per night which included breakfast.
The room was a good size and had everything you would expect.

The balcony was another story.
It was absolutely filthy and looked like it had not been cleaned for months. All the pot plants were full of old cigarette butts and there were lots of drink spills on the floor.

Not to worry, we were just looking for a nice place to relax for a couple of days. There is no bar within the actual hotel, its out the front of the hotel, probably about 100 metres from the entrance.
We were disappointed here as well as they only sold beer and coke, so absolutely no choices at all!

Time for an afternoon massage and spa at the hotel. Typical, it is all closed, actually it seems like anything to do with this hotel is closed during low season. Hard to figure out why as the place was totally booked out by late afternoon!

We thought there was a restaurant in the hotel but it turned out this is now closed and is used as the breakfast area. So back out the front we go to the bar/restaurant. Once again the choices were very limited so we ended up walking down the road and eating elsewhere.

Breakfast would have to be the worst we have ever had in Thailand, they did not even have any milk!! So second morning we took along a liter of our own. The quickest and safest bet for us was just to make toast as the girl cooking eggs did not know how to cook more than one egg at a time!!

It is such a shame as this hotel is such good value, the rooms are nice, the pool is beautiful but it is almost like they do not care about anything else there at all.
