Travel Tips for Trang
Watch Your Heads! Protect Your Camera!
I am at a loss for words what to describe this adventure - in a way it reminds me of my Blue Grotto trip when I was in the island of Capri in southern Italy - the only difference is that this Trang cavern adventure lasted much longer and went through more adventurous routes.
One thing I like about this activity is that you can get the opportunity to stop at designated stops to explore certain caves in further details before you get back on the little boat to continue your tour.
Super Island off Trang. Koh Ngai / Koh Hai
If you are looking for a few days of peace and quiet then this relitively unspoilt island could be for you. Koh Ngai, also known as Koh Hai is easily reached by boat from Pak Meng Pier(spelling?) There is little to do there but eat (in additon to the few resorts there is a super, cheap, friendly local restaurant next to the fantasy resort.) swim, snorkell, walk, enjoy the beautiful beach and sea, dive, boat trips etc. It is a great place for a few days away from the hussle and bussle. We stayed at the fantasy resort which was fine, not as nice as the photos on the website but it still had everything you needed and to wake up by the beautiful beach was wonderful!!
my Trang day tour
"boat to Tham Le (sea cave)"
It was an interesting trip to this fantastic cave. You have to experience by your own. And the view of cave was so marvelous. You won't get the chance to go inside this cave in rainy day because of too high water level. It was such amazing to go through the narrow water canals inside.
"interior view of sea cave ( tham Le)"
The boatman dropped us at few spots of the cave. It was in well maintenance. What a beautiful creation!
I heard from my friend about this kind of dessert before. We bought this one at a store road side. Very fresh taste. Perfect dessert for hot sunny afternoon.
